Hannah is an experienced dancer and teacher based in Wales. Her specialities are the classical, baladi and folk styles of Egypt as well as dancing with the veil, stick and zills. She is also a drummer and is well known for her research & workshops on the therapeutic and healing benefits of belly dance.
Hannah is continually studying dance from around the world and uses this knowledge to provide dance as a means to celebrate life events. She also gives talks and demonstrations on the history of Middle Eastern dance and the resurgence of its spiritual & ceremonial aspects.
She has designed a series of Goddess workshops using belly dance, drumming, storytelling, colour, costume and discussion to look at the different Goddesses in mythology and how we may be more like them.
Hannah is also therapist trained in Reiki, Metamorphic Technique & Indian Head Massage and has studied traditional Aztec medicine in Mexico.
